Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

Design & Documentation

  • Prepare electrical design drawings and specifications.
  • Design lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, and low voltage systems.
  • Perform calculations, code reviews, and system evaluations.
  • Coordinate design work with architects, owners, and other engineering disciplines.

Project Support & Coordination

  • Participate in project meetings and design coordination discussions.
  • Support construction administration through submittal reviews, RFIs, and site observations.
  • Collaborate with internal team members across multiple offices.
  • Contribute to quality control reviews and technical problem solving.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with building electrical systems design.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage tasks, deadlines, and project priorities.
  • Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer license or E.I.T. certification.
  • Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, or similar design software.
  • Experience with K-12, higher education, municipal, or public safety projects.
  • Interest in growing into project management or technical leadership.
