Overview
Falling Creek Middle School is a new, state-of-the-art educational facility developed to serve one of the fastest-growing areas in Chesterfield County. Designed as one of the largest middle schools in Central Virginia, the 238,963-square-foot facility provides modern classrooms, collaborative learning spaces, athletic areas, and shared community environments to support a growing student population. Thompson Consulting Engineers provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design, Construction Administration, and Commissioning services. Integrated building and life-safety systems were designed to support energy efficiency, occupant comfort, reliable operation, and long-term flexibility.
Challenges
